Discover how real chocolate is made (Ages 9–14)
Have you ever wondered how chocolate is really made?
Step inside a real working chocolate factory this summer and discover the fascinating journey from cacao bean to chocolate bar.
In this small-group workshop, young chocolate makers will taste chocolate from different origins, explore real cacao beans, discover how flavour develops during chocolate making, and create their own delicious chocolate to take home.
Designed for curious children who enjoy learning how things work, the session combines hands-on chocolate making with sensory tasting, creativity and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Whether they're passionate about food, love science and making, or simply can't resist chocolate, this is a unique chance to experience the world of bean-to-bar chocolate with an artisan chocolate maker.
During the workshop, children will:

A note from Nicola
One of the things I love most about making chocolate is that there's always something new to discover.
My hope is that every young chocolate maker leaves not only with something delicious they've created, but with a new curiosity about where chocolate comes from, how it's made, and the confidence to keep asking questions.
